Read carefully. I did not mention the decline, since everyone knows Federer's game slowed down a bit. I debate the stronger competition argument. I am not convinced that the competition is stronger at all. The surfaces have been slowed down, allowing players with Pong abilities to overachieve... Think about it.

It's hard to debate on a topic you have very little knowledge about, such as pre 2008 tennis, like you do. I understand.

Was there not a moronic thread from a few years ago that predicted that Federer will fall?

David "mug bendover vulture" Ferrer at 31 yo is currently ranked #4

(However, here's more measured response:

1. Ivan Ljubicic was #3 for only 9 weeks in 2006
2. Fed was extremely dominating in 2006 (arguably the most dominating year in the open era) that he won most titles, with Nadal winning some clay titles, leaving the scraps to the rest, and hence there were much fluctuation in the ranking after Fed-Nadal.
3. Ljubo won Indian Wells in 2010 at the age of 31, during the peak years of Nadal-Djokovic-Murray.)

What they don't get is that whenever they create these threads, every day he defies them they are looking like fools and I am laughing my ass off. I guess they like to embarrass themselves

Love your sig btw. I'm convinced Nole fan is an 86-year old senile grandma posing as a hot chick on the Internet
