He played doubles couple of years ago, with Moya I think.

Re: One-time wonders - Roberto Carretero - Hamburg 1996 champion

The most impressive two-time-wonder I remember is Yahiya Doumbia from Senegal. He won both Lyon 1988 and Bordeuax 1995 as a qualifier. He was ranked around 450 when he won Lyon and 280 when he won Bordeaux. I think he never was ranked in the top 200 outside the two years when he carried the points from his two titles. This is his ATP-profile.

I went to the ATP site, and I see there is no photo, but still, Getty has copyrighted his silhouette! Some greedy corporations! They can now copyright silhouettes of people too.

This must have something to do with his enigmatic personality.

Re: Roberto Carretero.

The original Carretero thread. I just came across a copy of his win against Hamburg against Corretja, once the off season starts I will upload some highlights to youtube.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Roberto Carretero.

Roberto is the best "one-hit-wonder" the tour has seen.

Proud fan of Olderer, the GOAT.
