Will Federer profit from Murray not being tested at all?

Murray only played against injured and >100 ranked opponents, so his match rhythm will be at its lowest ever for a GS SF. Will this be a big disadvantage when he suddenly has to play an in form Federer?

That's not when, it's if, and not a small one. Impossible to predict at this point what form will either of them bring in the SF.

“There’s so many athletes, tennis players around the world,” he continued, trying to put his life into some kind of perspective, “they want to be the best in what they do. They want to succeed. Many of them, they don’t succeed in the end. I’m fortunate to have this opportunity and succeed.”

To be honest I don't think it is big deal for Murray.

It's basically the same as facing a Federer with rhythm in the first round. His previous matches were against competitive sparring partners at best, none of those can be seen as a real match.

Yes I understand the potential difficulties I just don't think is a big deal for Murray because he isn't a rhythm player. As long as he has a few matches under his belt I don't think his form really matters that much.

Good point. Will Murray benefit from having enjoyed a straight ride so far or will it work to his disadvantage when he faces Federer?

Similarly, will Roger's last match have drained him even though it was 3 and half hours long.

Usually, Murray is better at best of 3s and Roger has a positive H2H in bigger matches.

But we'll see in two days.

Re: Will Federer profit from Murray not being tested at all?

Murray has too much easy draw. lol.

.

Nadal "Sampras, Ivanisevic match. or one between those kind of players, is not enjoyable. It's not really tennis. it is a few swings of the racquet. For me in the past it was just serve. serve". arrogance.

clay excluded. successive win 0. If grass and a hard are fast. Like Sampras era. Nadal is able to win only with clay. power of defense and muscles. boring ugly. All the surface is slow now.

fake time-out. cheat. gamesmanship. too noisy annoying always. excuse. boycotts threatened. always dissatisfaction cry complaints. dissatisfaction to schedule. selfish two-year ranking. bump to player. ugly protest. always exaggerated appeal of self condition. etc. overrated by fanatic arrogant blind fan
