Re: Murray camp unhappy with schedule

End of the day tennis isn't all about the top players so everyone gets on with things.

Ideally as I said, I'd have had two men's matches for the evening sesh but I'm not Craig Tiley.

Murray isn't whining, the Tory class warmongering Daily Fail is. and it's better for him not to associate with them.

I'm not saying Andy's more popular. I'm just saying it's strange for a strong top 5 player who does have name recognition and just won a Slam to not get at least one night match on the main stadium.

Main Husbands
The Serbian Moron
That Pasty Scottish Bloke

The side pieces
The Sweet but Dopey Argentine
The Bulgarian Headcase
That Douche from Australia

And when the daylight's fading we're gonna play in the dark til it's golden again

Re: Murray camp unhappy with schedule

I'm unhappy with his schedule and draw.First of all because of timezone I can only see the final third set, secondly his matches are boring.

The 4 Real Grand Slams:
Viña del Mar Delray Beach Estoril Båstad

Washington = unofficial 5th Slam

Lol at Murray. With his pathetic draw they should have done everyone a favour and played his matches on an outside court, so more better matches could be given quality time.

Serena is a multiple Slam winner and Sloane Stephens is a young up and comer who will break the top twenty after this tournament.

If it's all about matches with blockbuster potential, then why stick a doubles match there? Doubles have never been as popular as singles even when the locals play well.

I just find it strange that a guy who's well liked in Australia and has made history with his first Slam win hasn't gotten a night match yet but I guess it's too late to change the schedule.
They can't put the women's QF matches at night because they will have to play SFs the next day, IIRC.

Yeah and both semis are during the day, so no way will they do it. If I'm not mistaken though I think I remember there being a women's quarter-final at night once, but then that must have been of the half that played first.

Re: Murray camp unhappy with schedule

Murray certainly should not have an exhaustion problem this GS. Much better easy draw than long evening matches.

May only have to play 2 difficult matches; semi-final and final.

The current greatness league of active players in order of achievements to date (a factual comparison rather than fan biased assessment):

Federer 17 GS, 6 Year End Masters, 24 Master Series.
Nadal 14 GS, 27 Master Series, 1 Olympic Gold.
Djokovic 9 GS, 4 Year End Masters, 24 Master Series.

I think this is not about exhaustion but adopting to the condition. Federer got all evening matches playing under the lights is his advantage over Murray.
