No to both of your assumptions.

Twice on indoor hard court. 2007 YEC RR in Shanghai and 2011 WTF RR in London.

Ferrer's wins were clay and indoors, and he doesn't look good at this event at all
Hope he surprises, but I doubt it

Ferrer to give Djokovic a tough test like last year.

Djokovic in 4 or in 3 very tight sets.

Ferrer wins from aesthetically POV.The rest doesn't matter that much.

The 4 Real Grand Slams:
Viña del Mar Delray Beach Estoril Båstad

Washington = unofficial 5th Slam

Such a shame that someone like Federer racked up slams while his biggest "rivals" were Safin (wasted his talent chasing skirts and on parties), Roddick (who would shit him self even before the match begun) and 35 year old Agassi. See what I did there?

Re: WWW AO SF: N. Djokovic vs. D. Ferrer

Expect a Djokovic win in 3/4 sets.

Djokovic leads head to head 9-5:

Ferrer should be relieved he is not playing Federer.

The current greatness league of active players in order of achievements to date (a factual comparison rather than fan biased assessment):

Federer 19 GS, 6 Year End Masters, 26 Master Series.
Nadal 15 GS, 30 Master Series, 1 Olympic Gold.
Djokovic 12 GS, 5 Year End Masters, 30 Master Series.

Realistically Djokovic but I hope Ferrer at least gives him a match. He's done it before.

Either way David has had a great tourney.

Re: WWW AO SF: N. Djokovic vs. D. Ferrer

the problem is Ferrer has nothing to hurt Djokovic. yeah Pics can run around but Nole can run faster. Berdych was so much more dangerous btw but we know what happened there. I usually don't like to predict things, but this should be very easy for Novak. I'm not even interested to see this match
