Does Almagro hold the record?

For choking when serving for the match? against Ferrer in this AO QF he served for the match 3 separate times, not including the tiebreak.

BG is talking about the time he choked against Lendle after finally leading. He sounds really sad about Almagro.

Well, he hasn't even gotten any MPs so I don't find it too bad..

Federer / Haas / Safin / Gaudio / Kuerten / Youzhny / Nadal / Gonzalez / Ljubicic / Hewitt / Soderling / Wawrinka / Coria / Nalbandian / Kohlschreiber

Relax, he could serve for the set again, you should make this thread after the match

It's already record breaking though.

If you don't have match point on serve it's hard to make the case for greatest overall choke ever. We would need someone who is a king of losing match point for that honor.

Paris 2009 vs Rafa still beats this one. Only served for it twice there though IIRC but had 5 match points.

Almagro is such a choker, especially against Ferrer.

Ferrer will be eaten alive by Djokovic, it won't be pretty.
