Murray's road to the SF

Educating MTF clowns one post at a time.
So many fanboys to troll, so little time.

Favourite tennis matches: 2011 US Open Final & 2012 Australian Open Final, starring Novak Djokovic & Rafael Nadal, showing us just how far science can take humanity.

The US Open Final was especially enjoyable, with 'Why are there white spots all over my body?' Djokovic and 'Why am I sweating boils?' Nadal embarked on a titanic battle, concluding with the inferior player, Nadal, entering a sort of delirious state of psychosis. This allowed him to, while showing very little fatigue, consume inhuman amounts of energy, before he literally ran his legs from underneath him. This is truly the stuff dreams are made of.

Pretty lacklustre stuff from The Champ, but then he knew it was a done deal before the first point, so a tough match to be geared up for, when he could just cruise.

As for everyone that seems to think it's somehow an insult to The Champ to whine about how easy his draw has been (a big lol in itself), you seem to be forgetting that The Champ always cruises to the semis anyway. Only a tough bastard like Ferrer can get that occasional scalp before the semis, like RG last year. People didn't seriously think Del Po was a threat, surely? And Cilic? We've seen before that Andy can take a nap for nearly two sets and still beat him in four....

Besides Cilic and Del Potro have beaten Murray exactly as many times as Simon has.

Again what I say is right. Federer will win this and it won't even be particularly close. Something like 6-3 7-6 6-2. Raonic does not have the game to trouble a player like Federer in a slam.
If anything you should be using the notworthy smilie as I clearly know my stuff.

What's surprising, is that Murray didn't triple bagel him. Now Chardy, take this trash out in the QF please!
On MTF triple bagel means 6-3 6-3 6-3 so didn't miss much.

Andy yet to break a sweat this tournament I'm really pleased. Winning USO has completely elevated Andys mental state I think he expects himself to win this tournament without a doubt.

Tricky as Chardy can be I dont think Murray will mess around this time, could be his most difficult game yet but i still expect him to come out of this match 15-0.

Go Andy!

So very very proud to be a fan of Mr Andy Murray Wimbledon Champion 2013

Another easy win for Murray. It has all been a bit too straightforward so far.

Federer showdown looms large for Friday. Can't wait.

Re: AO R4: Murray warriors past Simon 6-3 6-1 6-3

Definitely literally one of the biggest "heavy weight" vs "light weight" match ups there are in tennis. Even Simon pointed it out several times, that Murray plays a very similar game to him but does everything better. Murray doesn't need to play anywhere near his best against Simon..

Federer / Haas / Safin / Gaudio / Kuerten / Youzhny / Nadal / Gonzalez / Ljubicic / Hewitt / Soderling / Wawrinka / Coria / Nalbandian / Kohlschreiber

Hard to know how well Murray is playing.

Matches so far too one sided to ascertain.

The current greatness league of active players in order of achievements to date (a factual comparison rather than fan biased assessment):

Federer 17 GS, 6 Year End Masters, 24 Master Series.
Nadal 14 GS, 27 Master Series, 1 Olympic Gold.
Djokovic 9 GS, 4 Year End Masters, 24 Master Series.

Re: AO R4: Murray warriors past Simon 6-3 6-1 6-3

Mugray's draw is as easily as disgusting as RG 2011. Not only is he facing mugs - he is facing mugs coming off exhausting 5 setters. No wonder he's been making it into second week, would get crushed by Wawrinka a couple of days ago. Instead he plays a worse version of himself who can barely walk If Mandy wins AO, it will be easily the most undeserved slam in the open era - even overshadowing Noserer's 2009 RG

Monfils would have put up a better fight. Too bad he fell to Shitmon in the previous round.

Re: AO R4: Murray warriors past Simon 6-3 6-1 6-3

Simon is a total joke. Said before the match that he has very little chances of winning this match. Typical French with no belief in his own abilities. And of course the result was never in doubt after that.

Andy just seems to measure and give out just what he needs to win. I'm a fan of Andy's, but I would much rather see him or any player play all out all the time!
