Possible repeat of the Semi Finals that happened/were expected at the US Open...

...So it's looking very likely that the Australian Open Semi Final's will be the same fianls that did happen/were expected to happen at the US Open ; Fed vs Murray (only stopped by the Fed killer Berdych) and Ferrer vs Djokovic.

Good thing, or bad thing? Getting boring imo. Draws should be revamped so top players are at least tested earlier in slams.

Mark Lenders banged your girlfriend, I'm sorry to tell you that mate.

Bad thing. We need Nadal.

How did Djokovic's 4th round match go?

The fact is, he still won, and most likely he will make the Semi Finals. I get your point, but still. Only 3 sets dropped combined by the top 4 seeds, a bit boring. I'm sure they'd rather be tested to their limits than have easy straight sets victories.

Change from 32 seeds to 16 seeds. This way any of the seeds could have played player #17 in the 1st round.

Decent tournament thusfar, I think. Though a huge amount of choking.

Matosevic, Hanescu, Lorenzi, Kukushkin, Chiudinelli, Gulbis, Bozoljac, Gabashvili, Hernych, Brown, Garcia-Lopez, Rosol, Zeballos, Istomin, Kohlschreiber, Tursunov, Robert, Gonzalez, Monaco, Thiem, Seppi

It's so unbalanced without Rafa. The way things are at the moment there's always going to be a weak half if everyone plays to their seedings, before there would only be a weak half if someone got upset.

Will Federer regain the #1 spot and break Sampras's record for most weeks at the top?

Roger // Rafa // Raonic // Söderling // Goffin // Ivo // Wawrinka // Baker // Delpo

What change would make it harder for them? Going by their results against players seeded 17-32 it is not likely that having 16 seeds would make results different. So what do you suggest? 8 seeds? 4? None?

8 seeds would probably be too few. 16 would be better.

16 would be a lot better than what it is now.

More reasons why I hope Nadal comes back healthy and ready to challenge. Without him the competition blows. Federer is getting old and sooner or later will have to deal with injuries and fatigue while Murray doesn't seem consistent IMHO to keep up with Djokovic. Nadal would fill the void.
