By the way, how hilarious would it be if Nole won this but had to fight hard for it, only to then lose to a fresh Ferrer.
Not hilarious. Tragic.

If Berdy could put his shit right he can beat Novak, but I doubt that will happen so I go with Novak.

Now that would be tragic. The volley Berdych missed on SP to go 2 sets up against nadal must still be in his mind.

I just can't see how Berdych will be able to win, he literally has to hit 2,3,4 winners to win a point. His match against nadal last year was absurd. This court favours defenders over attackers.

Are you 5 years old?

Stan had multiple break points to serve for the match vs Djokovic, I'd call that solving the strategic puzzle. The fact that he didn't win is due mainly to his weak mentality and NOT a flaw in his aggressive gameplan which worked perfectly for almost 2 sets.

Next.

controlled aggression is the word you were looking for.

ASI Director-General Gautam Sengupta said the list of India's treasures held abroad was "too long to handle" and there was a need for a "diplomatic and legal campaign" for their restitution from institutions, including the British Museum, the Royal Collection and the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery.

Nole doesn't just frustrate Berdych, he sends his shots back with interest. This won't be like Berdych-Nadal (which was an absolute disgrace to tennis)

Nah. If that happens, it's because Nole exhausted himself playing others and he has only himself to blame for that.

Re: WWW AO QF: Djokovic vs. Berdych

Just rewatched the 2nd set of their 2011 QF.

If Berdych can come out and play like that from the very beginning it'll definitely be very interesting. Considering Berdych only lost that set 7-6(5) on a slower court against a much better Djokovic than we've seen against Wawrinka anything could happen.

Re: WWW AO QF: Djokovic vs. Berdych

Why people think Novak needs to recover? At the end of Wawrinka match he wasnt even tired. I mean, sure he was tired, but not even close like last year. And he has a free day... Novak will be fresh, thats fact. I think Wawrinka gave him good test that only will help against Berdych. Novak in 4

If controlled aggression means hitting 4-5 winners in succession to win one point, then the meaning of the word has changed.

nadal won points in that match by simply returning balls that would be winners in any average speed court until Berdych missed.

What I see here is a player attacking and another one defending putting most balls in the middle of the court. Berdych hits 2 or 3 balls that would win him this point in an average speed surface.

Djokovic and nadal play differently. Djokovic has that controlled agression.

I think he was refering to the defenders part.

Yes, but Ferrer would be in a slam final. That's the disaster, for me.
