Why am I a hypocrite for disliking the idea of Ferrer in a final? I just don't like they guy, his style of play and what he brings to the game. I guess I am entitled to it. I am sorry if I offended any Ferrer fans with my statement, I shoudl have added two words in my post. I will do it now, actually.

I love you.

How awesome would it be if we somehow did get a Berdych vs Almagro SF here though? I mean considering what happened last year between them it would be epic!

Disagree. Federer vs Ferrer is the dream final. Just imagine the drama, the tension, the beauty of not having a clue what will happen on court. A final like this would certainly increase tennis' worldwide popularity imo.

On topic, I don't think Berdych can win here unfortunately. I hope he takes a set, which he certainly can do with some great 1st serve % and inspired hitting. But keeping that up over 3/5 sets is almost impossible. One of the main problems for him in this matchup is that Nole tends to control most of the rallies, as the serve/return combo favors him and force Berdych to stretch and hit from awkward positions far too often. I won't completely rule out Tomas's chances but he needs to play his best tennis to stand a figthing chance.

At least it's the first time since 2010 he makes back to back Slams QFs Hope this signals some newfound Slam consistency, if he keeps reaching QF he might get a favorable draw sometime and get himself to another final.

MTF games titles:

Suicide Tennis (5): Wimbledon 2014, World Tour Finals 2015, Madrid 2015, Kuala Lumpur 2014 and Metz 2015 - 1 Slam, 1 WTF, 1 Masters 1000, 2 ATP 250; 2 finals lost

Fill-in-the-Draw (3): US Open 2014, Rotterdam 2013 and Geneva 2015 - 1 Slam, 1 ATP 500 and 1 ATP 250

Tennis Tipping (3): Veneza and Todi 2014 (with vn01), Knoxville 2015 (with Redkop) - 3 challengers; 7 finals lost

I am not Ferrer fan..good riddance. But I dont find idea of Ferrer being in final so disgraceful or that tennis will lose or something with that, and I think that most of the people here are sharing my opinion.

I will probably be really sore if Nole loses to Berdych on Tuesday, but should it happen, Berdych better win the whole thing or lose to Murray/Chardy.

Sounds like a plan?

Re: WWW AO QF: Djokovic vs. Berdych

If Berdych plays to his potential, as Wawrinka did last night, this could be another close one for Djokovic. Novak's draw is looking tougher than it did when we initially found out that Murray was in Federer's half. Hope the match is better than the Djokovic-Wawrinka match.

Why? Ferrer has had a great career, one could argue he deserves a slam final. Although I agree the final would not be very exciting if he faced Federer there.

But, Murray - Ferrer on the other hand could be fairly tight.

To be honest I would just be happy if we saw an upset of one or more of the top 3 now. Even if it was Federer. Tennis is too predictable these days.

watched the match vs harrison. he plays different styles for different opponents. you should've learned that by now but you failed mightily.

ASI Director-General Gautam Sengupta said the list of India's treasures held abroad was "too long to handle" and there was a need for a "diplomatic and legal campaign" for their restitution from institutions, including the British Museum, the Royal Collection and the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery.

Berdych only beats Federer (of the top 4), so no way he's winning this.

It's my opinion. I find him boring. And I would be sad to see him in a slam final.

Well, I think he is due a lot of credit for how long he has been sitting in the top 10, especially around that #5 spot. That's true. But I find absolutely nothing interesting in the person and his tennis. Nothing at all. Plus he really annoys me. sorry But hey, I think is a worthy #5 and future #4, I just wish he stays away from slam finals.

Let's put it this way, if he reaches the final, I am not waking up early on a Sunday to watch it.

Stan had multiple break points to serve for the match vs Djokovic, I'd call that solving the strategic puzzle. The fact that he didn't win is due mainly to his weak mentality and NOT a flaw in his aggressive gameplan which worked perfectly for almost 2 sets.

Next.
Nole played bad, good Nole wouldnt allow Stan playing agressive. Next.
