Re: WWW AO R4: Federer vs. Raonic?

How come Milos has to play Roger too often?

He will have a crack one day; their matches are always close. There will be tie breaks for sure, and Fed needs a break early. Yup; I am a bit apprehensive.

Re: WWW AO R4: Federer vs. Raonic?

Raonic is at the same stage in his Fed rivalry as Del Potro was in Basel. You knew the pony was due a win just as you know Raonic is due one any moment now. Wins in 4 sets. Fed expended a lot of energy fending off 3 incredibly tough/talented opponents so far.

Re: WWW AO R4: Federer vs. Raonic?

Fed in 4, Raonic wins 1st or 2nd set TB

Educating MTF clowns one post at a time.
So many fanboys to troll, so little time.

Favourite tennis matches: 2011 US Open Final & 2012 Australian Open Final, starring Novak Djokovic & Rafael Nadal, showing us just how far science can take humanity.

The US Open Final was especially enjoyable, with 'Why are there white spots all over my body?' Djokovic and 'Why am I sweating boils?' Nadal embarked on a titanic battle, concluding with the inferior player, Nadal, entering a sort of delirious state of psychosis. This allowed him to, while showing very little fatigue, consume inhuman amounts of energy, before he literally ran his legs from underneath him. This is truly the stuff dreams are made of.

the match against davy? incredibly talented/tough? he gave away dozens of unforced errors! davy is a joke of a player these days.

the only time a player has played genuinely GOOD against fed in AO so far, is tomic in the 2nd set! thats it.

time for raonic to show his potential. his serve is GOD mode. a tennis analysts' wet dream!

Raonic is a genuine danger. He's in form. He has some big match experience and if the schedule is day time, the weather is in his favor.

Someone on MTF recently said just because a genius makes it look easy does not mean it's not tough. The point is the energy expended in dealing with though opponents. Mental as well as physical.

Re: WWW AO R4: Federer vs. Raonic?

This match should be at night. Murray will be playing some cannon fodder Frenchman, so this should definitely get the night session. If not, then Roger's fitness should help but I'd like him to play at night, so he's not as exhausted.

Re: WWW AO R4: Federer vs. Raonic?

In last two matches Fed was 6/29 on BPs . regarding the fact that Raonic's serve will solve too many chance issues this match should be a walk in the park for fed
