Re: Safin dumps Lundgren...

Poor Peter.

Safin was doing so well at the end of the year. I thought perhaps Lundgren had helped him, but I guess Safin thought differently.

Re: Safin dumps Lundgren...

It was just a joke, seeing how well it turned out for Fed.

Oh well, I guess my delivery sounded too serious even with those smileys.

Re: Safin dumps Lundgren...

Seeing the other posters' reaction to this, made me think this was true for a second.

Re: Safin dumps Lundgren...

I really was gonna freak out at this one, if he really did. Lundren has really helped Safin and I think that if they stick together he could really help Safin to win more majors.

Go Federer, Nadal!!!

Major to you guys!

Marat said at the last press conference that he's totally happy working with Peter! I hope they can challenge Fed next year and have some great wins!

Re: Safin dumps Lundgren...

Safin can't do without Lundgren now...
I'm glad he really picked the right man to help him.

Both of them are already talking about working on his volleys and forehand during the off-season. Lundgren also mentioned that Marat's phobia of Wimbledon is just an attitude of the mind, he was just saying it but may not mean it. He will try to convince Marat to try for Wimbledon success.
These are all taken from an article in The Times newsspaper
