I didn't ever really watch the match, but this result pleases me. I like Anderson. It seems like he's been steadily progressing each year and it's great to see him pull off a win like this.

Is this his first R16 in a major?

Nando is the most predictable player on tour...up two sets, needs a TB to win, but Nando can't win TBs so he loses .

Tennis is life...
Motivated Paire Berdych Gulbis Wawrinka Dimitrov Verdasco Giraldo

Not surprised by this result. Verdasco is a mental midget. There's a reason I made a bet on Anderson.. lol.

Anderson bossed Verdasco around from the baseline.

Nando forced to play retriever/counter puncher...YIKES.

Bye Fiasco. Well done taking out the trash, Anderson.

Re: Australian Open R3: Anderson d. [22] Verdasco 4-6, 6-3, 4-6, 7-6(4), 6-2

The point Anderson broke Verdasco's serve in the second set was RIDICULOUS. Nando was fuming about something that happened in the previous point that gave Anderson the break point; looked like something was happening in the stands. Then he serves, Anderson hits a backhand down the line that was clearly going way wide, the ball hits the top of the net post, lands in near the service line, Nando hits it down the line and rushes the net, only to get lobbed to go down a break. If I was Nando I'd just lose it right there and then but he held it together-ish.

Two things you should do to get surprised -
1. Watch the match
2. Take an IQ test

I think he was pissed because the ball boys didn't give him the towel several times and he had to go get it.

It's a small thing, but it's extremely annoying when you have your steps, breaths counted and try to keep your concentration at 100%.

Then he didn't do anything wrong for the whole game, just this bot got the lines in every point, even from defending positions he just throws the racquet ahead and by some crazy chance it actually hits the court, like 3 times in a row or smth.

quite disgusting.
