* Ivan Dodig will rise! :)

At the age of 28 Ivan reached 1st time 3rd round (after 5 previous attempts) of a Grand Slam.If he beats Gasquet, he is going to re-enter Top 50.
Vs Nieminen fired 33 aces and despite losing tie-breaks kept his determination winning in 5 sets and
once again proved strength in critical moments saving 17 break points.
Often being called as not the most “gifted player” around Ivan keeps proving how everything is
Possible if you try hard enough!
After rather modest major part of last season Ivan started to regain lost ground and only Ferrer
was able to stop him by winning home tournament.
Dodig already defeated the likes of Nadal or Tsonga and his desire to fight till last will carry him to the greater hights!
I am pretty positive Top 30 is assured soon and what else to expect from “Lion’s heart” anyways?!

*Dedicated to all, who consider Ivan as challenger player only

IVAN DODIG

So he was. I remembered it is 3rd round for some reason.

Ballsdig is already a legend, doesn't need to rise really even if I wouldn't mind if he did.

Re: * Ivan Dodig will rise! :)

Just beat Zemlja 1 and 1 in Montreal. He has been kicking a$$ in medium/fast hardcourts this entire year. He has definitely improved his return game and point construction and it shows. Before he would win matches against mugs 6-4 3-6 7-6(10) or something like that. Now he's actually crushing them.

If the draw lines up, who knows what can happen?

What can happen? He can crush the next player he faces with 2 bakery products again? Will be a mug for sure.

Players I support for non-tennis reasons: Murray/Ferrer/Monaco/Nadal/Isner/Li

del Potro/Nalbandian/Safin
Tsonga/Gulbis/Monfils/Dolgopolov/Verdasco
Davydenko/Kyrgios/Cilic/Muguruza

He's at 34 right now in the live rankings, with not a lot of points to defend. I think he can get well into the top 30 by the end of the year.

Not true: he still has to defend a third of his points until the end of the year (including 200 for Valencia SF). That's why he's ranked #35 but at #42 in the Race to London.

Yes, the draw lined up for him really well, he has Delpo in R2.
