Re: Tomic on Roger Federer: Will be interesting if we meet

The only thing that will be interesting here is how much lube the GOAT will use, if any.

Beating the world no 1 in an exhibition will remain as the best achievement of this overhyped clown's career

If Tomic comes into the final I'll wear an avatar of shame until next AO

The Great One's mind games are already top notch. He will send the old man packing tonight, you can quote this post later.

how come?

it's just a match in a guy's early career against one of the best players of the present era. he's obviously expected to lose. whatever the case, he'll still have a great career.

There are many ways to lose

Re: Tomic on Roger Federer: Will be interesting if we meet

It does not matter who is favourite on paper . The bad thing is Federer has a lot more high level tennis then Tomic has. I have not seen Tomic to do something extraordinary like Federer done and still doing. Last year it was Raonic and what he did nothing now it is Tomic. Just put a lot of pressure on Tomic because he has no exsperience.

Obviously this is true. However it will be an indicator of where his game is at the moment. Taking a set or losing in three tight sets would obviously show progress compared to last year when he only won 8 games against Fed in the 4th round.
