Re: Off Season: Let's talk about 2004 ATP #8-20

I'll start with Agassi and Nalbandian. Agassi should lurk around the top 8 next year, and I expect he'll do well in the majors next year, especially Down Under. Nalbandian, although injured through the vast majority of this season, still made the top ten, which just shows you how good he can be, if he stays healthy. If Nalbandian is fit and healthy next year, there's no reason why he wont make the MC, and be a major threat at all the majors.

Misha is past 21, right? His chances of winning a first slam drop exponentially after that age.

I figured that.

I just didn't want to look stupid thinking it was Youzhny.

Well, Gaudio and Rafter both bloomed in their mid-twenties. Henman is still trying to get that Slam at 30+.

Haas will probably move up.
Gaudio and Hrbaty will drop down. Both had career years and it will be tough for them to replicate those performances next year.
Nalbandian will make next years masters cup if he remains fit and maybe Haas as well.

Re: Off Season: Let's talk about 2004 ATP #8-20

Kiefer will move up, he just needs a few good results at the beginning of the year to do so!

The difficult part will be to defend all those points from the US hardcourt season.

Haas will move up!

Carlos --- C'MON Lleyton!!! --- Kiwi!!! --- Jürgen --- Juan

Best of luck to all Germans : Nicolas Kiefer | Rainer Schüttler | Lars | Florian | Tommy

Well, if Henman needs some inspiration, he need not look any farther than Agassi, who won the majority of his slams in his late 20's, early 30's.

Hrbaty will likely go down. He had a tremendous season this year, but its going to be extremely difficult for him to repeat that next year.

Nalbandian if he stays injury free then he will make TMC and that goes for Ferrero as well.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
