doubt Nadal would win RG with a wooden racket... it goes without saying he wouldn't beat Borg either

And I still don't understand as to why that makes a difference to Safin achieving what he did in between slams.
I've been watching tennis since the late 80s. Try again. These guys I mentioned wouldn't win a slam now. None of them. The top 4 is too dominating now due to the homogenization of the surfaces. Andy Murray who is mocked and ridiculed and called a one slam wonder/fluke would dominate in the early noughties. Similar to Hewitt.

mmm , I don`t see murray dominating the best hewitt.... lleyton had much more heart and mentality.

and in that fast surfaces , players like ivanisevic or roddic would can defeat players like murray easily

Re: Del Potro - When Will The Hype Stop?

There is just no way with Djokovic, Federer, Murray and Nadal around. They wouldn't let these guys I mentioned above win a slam. This top 4 is too consistant and dominating. Blame it on the homogenization of the surfaces.

Stopped 3 years ago. From the moment he won a Slam, it's no longer hype, he has delivered. Better question would be: when will you finally admit you're just an irrational hater?

Just be happy that his surgery stopped him from repeating moments like this and inflicting further pain to your hater's soul and move on

Yes, and Thomas Johansson is one of the all time greats.
