Since Hewitt's style is to remain consistent and force his opponent to play at a high level for a long period of time and wear them down mentally, that often favors him in a five set match. However, as I stated in my previous post, I tend to agree with you in this case. If the underdog pulls out a set, that's much more significant in a best-of-three than a best-of-five.
