Tomic's potential 1st AO title

We all know everybody (tennis experts, journos,...) is talking about the(open era)record of 3 consecutive AO titles that Djokovic can achieve this year or the five AO titles that Federer can get.

But why is there no talk at all about the palpable possibility that Tomic might achieve the first of many GS titles in his career?

You are a very wise poster, abraxas. It's got me stumped as well.

Because the tennis media has an anti-Tomic agenda. They know he will slay both Fed and Nole in this tournament.

Re: Tomic's potential first AO title

Because he needs to destroy Brands first, maybe Federer as well, or maybe even whoever comes next for specialists to consider him as real potential winner imo.

He's been out of sight for some time and ppl forgot how good he still is and that he's a legitimate contender for this tittle.

took you a minute? it was only 3 lines long.

i recommend spending an hour a day into reading for at least 2 months. i know it sounds like a lot but it will save you a lot of time during the rest of your life. sound investment, imo.

Because it's obvious GOATmic will win the AO, no need to talk about it.

8th day of July 2012: 7-time Wimbledon champion!

Once upon a time there was a myth about strong and weak eras. On this glorious day the clownery was eventually unmasked: 30 y.o. past-prime daddy Fed became #1 once again in the supposed strong "Spartan" era with his rivals at their peak.
And they all lived happily ever after.
Long live King Federer!

I'm thinking of starting my own forum. A place where all of you
pitiful losers can come and vent out your frustrations and try
and get the attention you apparently are starving for. Tomug has
NO CHANCE of getting past the Third Round, let alone winning the
Title. Fed is going to Crush that Punk's Skull !

^ I am fairly certain you are the frustrated one. What´s with the insecurity, surely Tomic has not managed to get under your skin that much with his statements?

Re: Tomic's potential first AO title

Unfortunately, he will probably win iT somedays (i have always been convinced that this guy would become a star, even last year)but obviously not this year.

He can be tough for Roger, but i don't think he match up very well with him, it will probably be a 4 setters. He would match up better against Djokovic, Nadal and Murray IMO, tough luck for him.
