Pretty good game overall. Hewitt looked good at times but didn't really have enough consistency to defeat Tipsy, unfortunately.

RIP Henry Chinaski. A true MTF legend

Deserved win for Tipsarevic. Would've liked to see Hewitt win, but Janko was too good

This match didn't deserve to be straight sets, but Janko was very good at times.

Tipsy was overall very solid today. Could make a decent run here.

Biggest surprise of this match is that it did not go to 5.

Standard stuff. I predicted Tipsy in 4

Go get them Janko! Next round (or even the round after that) should be much easier...
Feel sorry for Lleyton, with this kind of play he could have made R3 or R4 with a 'normal' draw.

Djokovic | Tipsarevic | Querrey

Re: Australian Open R1: Tipsy d. Hewitt 7-6(4), 7-5, 6-3

Hewitt played pretty good but Tipsaravic produced some huge shots on critical points. It's astounding how Hewitt has consistently failed to hold leads in the second half of his career.

Re: Australian Open R1: Tipsy d. Hewitt 7-6(4), 7-5, 6-3

Hewitt started really well, he was more offensive than Janko, went for his shots. But later stepped it up and, unfortunately, his level is too much for Hewitt right now Lleyton didn't have too much advantage on his serve, his net approaches were not prepared too well. Really pity he had to face Janko so early.

As for Tipsy, amazing match, he should reach QF here.
