Monaco was injured, he couldn't play a single match this year because of the same injure. He should't come to AO, now, he won't be able to play DC most probably.

I guess the AO crowd on show court 2 have a different opinion as he receive an ovation from the crowd because he finished the match rather than retiring, everyone in the crowd knew that he was not in any condition to continue specially on those last 2 sets. despite losing he got more supporters.

Well at least he didn't retire due to heat or maybe just cause he was losing. He could have retired with a valid reason. unlike some other in their career.

It was actually a different injury he missed due to a hand injury, In AO it was back injury.

Totally agree with you. I can't find a good reason to risk in the Australian Open if he was injured when he has the South American Swing on behind. Such lousy calendar organization.

I hope to be able to see Kuznetzov in Buenos Aires next month

This match was a horrible decision by Monaco, may have doomed Davis Cup He's unsure if he'll be able to play, and Argentina will lose for sure
