Yay Carlos!!!!

He just took the 2nd set from Roger 6-3!!! You did something Lleyton couldn't even do. Now win, so you can make the semi-finals.

Re: Yay Carlos!!!!

As much as I'd want to see him win, I don't want him too cause I want to see Hewitt in the semis. :P

Mardy Fish for president.

Re: Yay Carlos!!!!

Well, now that he won a set against Roger, doesn't that mean that Carlos and Lleyton have to play for the second spot in the semifinal.

Re: Yay Carlos!!!!

No, Lleyton and Carlos already played...

If Carlos doesn't win, Lleyton has to beat Gaudio to make the semis. I think. If Carlos wins Lleyton is out regardless? I think. That said, Carlos is a break down in the third.

I lack direction.

Chocking makes me sad.

Moya has been infuriating to watch in the third set.

Um, how did it backfire? It wasn't a victory thread, it was a "yay, he won the second set and I hope he can win the third" thread

I lack direction.

Chocking makes me sad.

Who was celebrating prematurely? I saw somebody celebrating that Carlos won a set, which he DID.

Did you two read the same thread as me or are we existing in parallel universes?

I lack direction.

Chocking makes me sad.

I guess winning the second set was an accomplishment too.

Re: Yay Carlos!!!!

I am glad Roger won, but I think Moyá played a great match...it seemed it could go either way for a while.

Good job, Carlos.

Allez

The second part of your answer confuses me. What do you mean by total top four? The top four players in the world? Of which Moya was one until he injured his shoulder and stopped playing?

Considering Moya has taken more sets off Roddick than Safin did today and that Moya leads the head-to-head against Safin, how are we assuming that Moya doesn't have any shot at getting past Andy or Safin?

I think you'll notice that people in this forum value precision.

Re: Yay Carlos!!!!

Moya getting a set off Rogi IS big... he was quite unlike himself in that set, as was Rogi!!! je je
