A kid would need the physicality of (at least) a twenty year old to compete in marathon matches against the baseliners and grinders out there. Couple this with the fact that you have late twenty-somethings as well as thirty-somethings staying in the game longer means absolutely perfect timing and freakish physique is required for a teenager to break through in the transitional period.
