Aus open QR2 Young d. Blake 7-5 6-4

Blake was so bad it would make you sad to see this match.

Good luck with after tennis career James, shouldn't play any more imho.

Young was really horrible but had the luck to draw a Blake in such conditions.

Re: Aus open QR2 Young d. Blake 7-5 6-4

I did not know it was humanly possible to make that many unforced errors
Young wasn't great, but Blake was horrible and converted 1/12 BPs

Young handled the wind much better, as Blake had way too many unforced errors.

I can't be the only one thinking James would be getting much more money doing any other potential job he could be doing other than playing professional tennis?...

Please James, go commentate or whatever...

Re: Aus open QR2 Young d. Blake 7-5 6-4

It was hard to watch Blake's muggery. Young was decent but Blake... failed to break Donald with 3 BP in a game midway through the first, and then surrenders serve at 5-5

Tennis Fucking Sucks

Federer was the pioneer of first-strike all-court tennis. This is the real tennis and the beautiful game. Never forget the beauty of what was tennis. Nadull and Fakervic don't win tennis matches. They simply outlast their opponent with endless grinding and stamina. That is ugly. Beautiful tennis is gone now. Never forget the good days of real tennis.

I respect Pure Tennis. First-strike, all-court, offensive tennis. Players who succeed here can succeed in both an offensive and defensive eras of tennis. Impure grinders like Nadull, Djokovic, and Murray could never win in an offensive tennis era.

Wish I could've seen the Don destroy Blake.

Terrible tank from Blake, time to retire and join ESPN/Tennis Channel.

Patrick McEnroe loved both because he cheated to win Davis Cup for Blake/Roddick, and he's American.

i like james, but as a commentator? Don't know if you guys remember his interviews but he used to always laugh every 2-3 seconds and go "uhhh yea" to everything. We already have gimelsnob, why even more masochism.

Re: Aus open QR2 Young d. Blake 7-5 6-4

Blake's determination and grit to grind it out on the lower levels of the tour, when he could have easily taken the easy way out already like Roddick is admirable. But losing to Young is pretty much the end, time to pack it in. No more shame left after this loss.
