Whereas Djokovic probably will make two finals: women's final, and mixt doubles final, with a real man like Tipsy.

Proud supporter of El Tio , the greatest genius alive!

Alchimists transform iron into gold. Boriiiiiing!
Movie-makers transform dreams into reality. Yeah, whatever...
El Tio transforms Dull into a multiple GS champion! Daaaaamn!

El Tio has the keys to weather, court speed, draw making, umpires' decisions and perception of time between points, top players' fatherhood, and my libido!

This signature is in no way ironic. Please don't ever let El Tio think that, for my sake!

On the map in the original post, Melbourne is 20 degrees C. Sure there record temps over 1000kms away.... but isn't it a bit like quoting a record temp in the Spain and deciding that a week later it will be hot in Poland???

Australia is rather large overall.

I see. So your answer to "A or B?" is "C". Glad you shared.

Being the defending champion should have some advantages as well, no?

Being the champion of the last two editions even more, no?

Re: AO potential serious weather issues

Once again, the +45°c heat you see on television is far away from Melbourne. And next week it will be fresher, still very warm but tolerable.

Rooferer, Roofovic Roofray

I hope my Roofi doesn't play during the worst heat, he's not used to it coming from mountains of south tyrol!
