You must be a Fedtard if you don't like Nadal.

That's a 'law of MTF' that needs adding.

Most of them won in a Nadalless/Rivalless era and feasting off injury of his main opponent. Nadal isn't scared whether Roger is in the draw, you can't say that the other way around

I hate to join in this stupid debate, but you do realise Fed won the majority of his slams WHILE NADAL WAS WINNING SLAMS, right?

Nadal's Slam period: 2005-2012
Slams: 11

Fed Slams from 2005-2012: 13

If you're good enough to win a grand slam, even if only on one surface (Nadal, 2005-2006), then you can't just say "Nadal was crap back then". Let's not forget Nadal was in the Wimbledon final in 2006. For God's sake, he got to the 3rd round of Wimbledon in 2003! More than most of our current 'up and coming' players can do. Raonic, currently #13 in the world, and everyone's dark horse to win a slam soon, bailed out in the 2nd round of this year's Wimbledon.

Re: Nadal OUT of the Australian Open

truth be told, a fit del potro at his peak is a nightmare matchup for dull on any surface

its a shame they've only met once at USO 2009, and will probably never meet again due to dull retiring early to preserve his precious h2h record

Last time I checked it was Federer who cried like a little baby after he lost to Nadal on his worst suface.

Monaco - Del Potro - Nadal - Wawrinka - Robredo - Simon - Berdych - Djokovic - Chardy

But he didn't disappear for months with a fantom injury after that loss. Which is what Nadal has done - not once but twice for good measure.

I look forward to seeing him in Acapulco. Nice place to start the comeback.

Are you his Doctor to be able to say that Nadal's injury is a "fantom injury"?

Monaco - Del Potro - Nadal - Wawrinka - Robredo - Simon - Berdych - Djokovic - Chardy
