Wouldn't have been ready for AO either way. Had no choice but to do just that. Hope he'll be back with us soon.

Not surprised. Always thought after this long out he would come back on the clay and not before.

But i hope and wish Rafa in this recovery, i have been a Rafafanatic for many many years, and i feel like i have known him forever. Stay strong Rafa and my prayers go to you and your team.
I congratulate you for being such a fan. It must be very hard to be a Rafa fan right now, but you haven't left like many others. You stay strong, Rafa will come back when he's ready. And then he'll beat my Nole and I'll get mad at him: but never for long.

My best wishes for Rafa. Tennis is not the same without him.

Re: Nadal OUT of the Australian Open

Things are def not looking good in the Rafa camp. We all know the stomach virus thing is BS and a commonly used excuse. If it were one, it passes typically in a few days. Either it's a crisis of confidence or his knee is still not up to snuff. The longer this goes on, the higher chance he'll never come back.

Did Rosol show up at his bedroom window and spook him or what? Sore loser Nadull still can't get over that loss it seems.

I too have up and downs and love and hate relationships with this guy. It a ride til i die moment when it comes to be a hardcore Rafa fan.

At RG certainly, even the two hc majors. Belucci not really known for his expertise on grass though I get your point Rafa far from complimentary. Never expected Rafa to play after WTF pull out, just hope Lendl gets to Murray sooner rather than later, Abu Dahbi wasn't pretty.

Re: Nadal OUT of the Australian Open

Well I don't know if the true nature of his injury is his stomach virus or his knee... or something else. But if this is just fear then I think he's wrong. He needs to play, even if he loses first round. It's not going to get easier if you keep putting it off.

But if he really can't play then that's all there is to it. I wish him luck with his recovery, and there's nothing much else to talk about. Just leave him alone until he comes back.

Amazing that it takes the 'Spartan' more than 6 months to get over one loss. Or is it something else...?
