Largest forehand of all time

Other then myself who do you think had the most dominating forehand?

A Professional Tennis player and coach on the Tennis Tour in his struggles with Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder and Depression, also trying to raise a family and hang on to my other diminishing relationships, just spreading awareness about these common issues for pro athletes.

Re: Largest forehand of all time

ah, too many threads about this already. I won't give you any answers as my opinion is mine (and only mine, lol), but Gonzo's FH was breath taking. The absolute thing of beauty.

but you can't win matches with FH only ... , there are things called BH, court coverage, slices, serve, movement, net play etc ... anyway you kill me with Fed in every of your posts ... talk more about Mandy, goddamn it, and remember to say something 'nice' about Nole just once in a while (I know you can do it)

Re: Largest forehand of all time

By largest I would assume you are talking about raw power in which it is struck. Sebastien Grosjean can whip his forehands up to 185km/hr. Did it once against Carlos Moya in Australian Open 2001 and French Open against Nadal.

Monfils can whip his forehand up to 190km/hr however in terms of largest I would still give it to Fernando Verdasco. But of course as with everybody Gonzo deserves a good mention too.

I'm no Fakervic fan but he needs to save tennis, sadly tree trunk legs will be fresh. Interesting he's never questioned....

Gonzo took the cake in that Aussie Open up until the Final. I'd take Soderling's too.

OK, can we move on and start with the AO already?
Fat tall guys are blessed as well, they've just been blessed with something extra blocking the view.

So someone recently informed me that my sig was empty. Said I needed a life affirming motivational quote by a positive role model like Einstein or Oscar Wilde...

Great tip to stay fit and mobile: If you run up and down the stairs two steps at a time at least once daily, there will never come a time when you can't do it. Until of course one day you mistime a step, collapse and break all your bones... That would suck. But you had a good run.

The forehand was still massive and the Chilean was clearly still playing in the zone in the final but Federer neutralized it.

Case closed then Gonzo had the most mph's on a forehand, and just wanted to say that after seeing edberg play few days ago I couldn't believe how he was able to be number 1 in the world with that forehand
