Eh? Todd isn't exactly in any position to do any talking with his racket anymore, unless he ran on to the court and smacked Tomic upside the head with it That would count

they could at least give the good example for him and not provoke him by talking less, in the beginning Cahill and Rasheed gave good advices, it was OK, Newcombe in a lesser extent, but all we've heard in the last weeks it's many words for nothing apart from media vilification and provoking him

I think Tomic did all the provoking himself.

no, that's not the case, at least if you consider the provoking by the words : since the US Open and Davis cup, the Australian establishment has kept on and on vilifying him in words without him saying anything.

These recent words which are quoted here, after the announcement to "suspend" him from Davis cup, had been the first ones where he made public provocations himself for a while.

After the Davis cup and the US Open, he rather tried to minimize the tensions about Tony Roche and Pat Rafter.

Re: I can be the best player ever: Tomic

maybe this will help him out to focus more on tennis.

Bernard Tomic could now lose his license

20 year old Australian Bernard Tomic has already lost his spot in the Davis Cup squad.

Now, the Australian could also lose his driving license after several traffic misdemeanors over the past year.

Accodring to the Gold Coast Australian paper, Tomic has nine demerit points but since Tomic contested the fines, the points were not processed until the court action was finalised months later.

This allowed Tomic to continue to have his license since the fines and demerits were not processes. But now, transpost officials in Queensland are reveiwing his case and he is expected to lose his license for some time at least.

Tomic would either face a three-month suspension, or could also be put on a good-driving bond for 12 months.

You could imagine them winning a major under some extraordinary circumstances. But dominating a year is probably not even possible in theory

“There’s so many athletes, tennis players around the world,” he continued, trying to put his life into some kind of perspective, “they want to be the best in what they do. They want to succeed. Many of them, they don’t succeed in the end. I’m fortunate to have this opportunity and succeed.”
