Fedtrolls are apparently babies. They have
the new disturbed village idiot - the lone "Fedal" nutjobboy to support while everyone else can speak to each other.

Re: The Best Player of 2012: Rafael Nadal

In addition to what was said in the original post, Nadal led the 2012 rankings race prior to his problems where he was unable to compete properly.
That he was not able to compete the rest of the year shouldn't influence that he was the best player during 2012.

The fact that his most serious competition was able to be more successful
without Nadal's intimidating presence proves it.

Respectfully,
masterclass

Re: The Best Player of 2012: Rafael Nadal

Nadal certainly had an impressive year, considering the injury. I really question, however, how effective he'll be when he returns. That was a serious injury and I'd expect it to take him a few months to get full movement back. Do you guys think he should avoid the AO all together? Starting out on a clay tennis court might not be the best idea coming off an injury, even though its Nadal.

Re: The Best Player of 2012: Rafael Nadal

this thread is like a running joke. Nadal was the best during the clay court season and so he was leading the race?
and what about 60% of season : the hardcourts.

Re: The Best Player of 2012: Rafael Nadal

Nadal was best during clay season. Best of 2012? It's Djokovic, and it's not even close. Anyone saying otherwise is lying or delusional, or both. Many of his more delusional fans are saying "he was injured, so he couldn't compete"...yeah, so? Best is not determined by crystal ball, or based on what would have happened, but by actually getting out there and fighting for titles over 12 months.

Novak Djokovic Rafael Nadal

David Ferrer - Leyton Hewitt - David Nalbandian - Marcos Baghdatis - Janko Tipsarevic - Tommy Haas

Masterclass, for the joke of it, made five different threads declaring all of Djokovic, Federer, Murray, Nadal and Ferrer player of the year 2012. When just one of them is brought back up like this one misses out on his intention.

Needless to say Rafa is and will always be the best player of any era because he never loses when he is healthy.
