I think 2013 wll be very similar to 2012, but with Djoko as number 1 the whole year. He will win 1 or 2 GS imo, finishing the year as number 1.

There is a possibility he only wins the AO but still remains #1 for the entire year by reaching the other slam finals. He is very consistent, never gets injured and still is not in his late 20s. If different players share the slams again then it will be easier for him. Unless Murray breaks through and wins a couple of slams, Novak will keep the #1. I doubt any other player will win multiple slams since Federer and Nadal are past their primes and I'm not sure Novak can win multiple slams himself after what I saw in 2012.

great : now mods please delete Abraxas's thread

never imo, although he might lose it in the first part of the year (after Miami or during clay season) if he fails in Melbourne but will get it back it later.

Djokovic will most likely lose #1 around the middle of next year after Andy gathers champion points from the Australian Open, some masters tournaments and probably Wimbledon. Until then, his points total is too big for anyone to overtake him, unfortunately.

ANDY MURRAY

SLAMS: 3 WINS, 8 finals, 9 semi-finals, 7 quarter-finals...
WORLD TOUR FINALS: 3 semi-finals...
MASTERS: 12 WINS, 6 finals, 13 semi-finals, 18 quarter-finals...
OLYMPICS: 2 gold medals, 1 silver...
DAVIS CUP: 2016 champion...
MATCH WIN/LOSS: 603-172...
TITLES: 39 and counting...

Yes, that's the most likely thing to happen.

90% sure he won't lose it. If he does though, only after Shanghai or WTF.

Sap, you are getting sloppy. Mandy is winning RG too bud. Wimbledon for sure. Wimbledon won't be even played next year. what's the point? Mandy is da best on grass. Now, when I think about it Mandy is da best at everything.

Indian Wells, Rome and Madrid are the key to this equation. That's where Murray needs to shine to get there. First though, he needs to completely take advantage of the fact that Federer has many points to defend this first third of the year. If he's second by the time we reach the clay season MM, there is chance. All in all though, it's not that easy at all.
