could be a while until we saw another Federer and the tour might become a big grind fest without him. hm.
Exactly, I love Rafa but I was tearing my hair out in pure frustration at the AO final this year, a 6 hour grindathon isn't my idea of fun, if surfaces keep slowing down we might see 90% grinders and a few ballbashers every now and then (those aren't exactly consistent) but people like Roger who are more about shotmaking and economic movement are very rare in these times.
Dimitrov is Fed lite in all aspects, he tries to emulate the old man but lacks the sheer talent the Swiss has, his strokes might look similar but are ages away of what Roger has been able to produce (And for all the talk about his headcaseness, you don't win 17 GS by sheer luck or sheer talent, you have to be mentally strong and ballsy to do that)
How many one-handers are left in the top 20? who's the only one-hander consistently vying for titles these days? Roger, like I said he's the last of his kind; hell how many youngsters are there with one-handed backhands? it's really a dying breed and a testament to his greatness that he managed to do what he's done with a weak wing like his BH.
