Re: WWW WTF SF: Federer - Murray

Uhmmm... I know some Fedfans won't enjoy my post here, so sorry folks, but I post my sincere opinion, and not what I think folks would like to read/hear...

Judging on the 'form' Fed has shown this week - his total lack of any consistency in serving as well as making TONS of UEs - Murray has his preferred tactic spelled out for him here, i.e., PUSH the old man to death..
push-push-PUSH-PUSH-PUSH!, "Ah, mission accomplished, Unforced Error #XX!"

Should Murray in stead decide to leave his brains out with Kim, combined with Fed suddenly being able to teleport his 1st serve from the beach in Dubai and cutting out the UEs, perhaps there's hope for Fed, but for now, my verdict will be Muzza in two or three.

And yes I hope I'm wrong on all accounts.

Re: WWW WTF SF: Federer - Murray

Judging by current form I'd say Murray, sadly. And I don't do anti-jinxes.

Perhaps Roger will come out guns blazing tomorrow, but it just doesn't feel like he will.

Re: WWW WTF SF: Federer - Murray

my head tells me Murray's gonna sweep him in 2 well-fought sets

but my instinct says that Federer is a bit overdue for a beatdown of Andy

plus Murray's never made it to the final, Fed has at least 7 times... so I think he'll take this in 2

No idea what addidas has been thinking there.

But if Fed plays as against Tipsa - no outfit can save Muzza.
Fed can do it--please. That vomit yellow outfit is horrible. Addidas is crappy. Good thing Novak moved on. they used to dress novak in orange/blue or smurf blue. Yuck

I think Murray will take this, Federer is playing too bad to defeat Murray at the moment.

All things are subject to interpretation whichever interpretation prevails at a given time is a function of power and not truth.

Re: WWW WTF SF: Federer - Murray

Murray doesn't have the fortune of playing Frauderer on the heels of a historically long semi-final this time, and will thus go down in 2 easy sets like the pushing mug lackey that he is.

Re: WWW WTF SF: Federer - Murray

Like many people here, I expect Murray to win. Probably in two closely contested sets.

Federer is old, and he's looking it at the moment, in fact has done the last two months. Just seems he's got less game than Murray right now, although Murray's not playing at his best either.

That being said, I thought Djokovic would beat Federer in the Wimbledon semi quite comfortably, and look how wrong that was. And this is basically Federer's second best big tournament after Wimbledon...

So we may be in for a surprise yet...

Surface is very slow.
I think the victory factor for Federer will be hiw willingness to come to the net and his volley delivery.

Re: WWW WTF SF: Federer - Murray

Fed needs to serve well and take his chances if and when Muzz's serve % drops down. Even then it'll be tough on this slow court.

Sadly, Murray has all the chances to win.

But still, when stupidMTF think Fed will lose, he pulls out a JesusFed-performance and put a big Moby D#ck inside some dirty holes.
