it's funny but I think you are right . really guys, lately (and this could be my conspiracy theory) Nole tends to get into all kinda impossible situations and somehow wins these bloody matches. I just can't believe it.

anyways, he was returning like a mad man today. feel bad for Berdych tho. I like him and some of you are too harsh. just a horrible match-up between these two.

Good to see Nole finally playing well, particularly in that first set.Much better than in his previous match. Some SPs saved in the proces = routine match

expected result, maybe not that final choke but Thomas is not defeating Novak these days... Berdych lost his chances by losing to Murray.

OK, I'll try to help. you can say your opinion no problem, but if your 'opinion' does not make ANY SENSE you are going to be b!tch slapped on MTF. if you do not understand basics of tennis you can ask, not just make some silly statements (I didn't want to quote your previous post) and expect everyone to love you. ... we can agree to disagree but again your previous post was just ignorant.

Yep, it was starting to look like a mirror of Querrey match.

Btw, Tignor:

Quote:
Advice for Berdych: If the score is tight, don’t go for all-out winners on your forehand. Advice for Djokovic: If it's allowed, forfeit all of the points until you're down break point, or set point, or match point, or 1-5 in a tiebreaker. Today, when Djokovic went down by that score, it really did look like he believed he had Berdych right where he wanted him. He was almost flawless from there, while Berdych panicked.

“There’s so many athletes, tennis players around the world,” he continued, trying to put his life into some kind of perspective, “they want to be the best in what they do. They want to succeed. Many of them, they don’t succeed in the end. I’m fortunate to have this opportunity and succeed.”

You really have to wonder if/when Berdych will ever beat Nole again. It's a tough matchup for him and whenever he gets into good positions he invariably chokes - even in the one match he did win he did his best to choke. He had to take that tiebreak today from 5-1 up.

Re: WTF London '12: Djokovic def. Berdychoke 6-2 7-6(6)

Djokovic was good during the first set, but not great. Berdy a bit tense and clueless. During the second set Tomas lost his contacts and thought he was playing Fed or Murray. He found them during the change over of the tb while leading 5-1, realized he was still playing DJokovic, promptly put his head between his legs and kissed his ass goodbye.

Funnily enough, Berdych is a non factor against Nole and Nadal, but he's a tough rival for Federer and Murray.
Maybe I should start being his fan.
