Fed has alone won more WTF matches than other seven players together

Yes, 41 for him and 40 for the rest. 51%. He will lose this "distinction" tomorrow, though.

His share of losses is not as intimidating, 7 from 48 is 15%.

Must be the ultimate lack of motivation playing a pigeon of yours...

And when you've won everything in tennis, you're 31 and you have better things to do...

Pulling this off must be the 11th commandment for dedication and professionalism.

Kudos.

Maybe, but I bet he'd rather be beating one of his closer rivals. Thats a champions mentality.

You don't understand the mentality in tennis.

Playing against your main rivals is the ultimate adrenaline rush and pleasure. Win or lose you feel alive.

Playing someone you beat hands down anytime is a horror. The absolute punishment.

Winning a match like this is THE ultimate psychological challenge.

Hmm I agree with some of what you are saying. But I am sure Roger isn't as concerned about this as he would be vs. Muz or Djoker

Fed was so horrible today, but that comes in the package of getting older.

For Fed fans; you will see more and more Fed play like this. Yes, there were some flashes of brilliance, but they will become rare and more rare.

Ferrer ran around like a rabbit, and yet still lost straight set against horrible, shanking Federrror.

Re: London WTF 2012 RR: Federer def. Ferrer 64 76(5)

I nearly had a heart attack watching this at the O2. It was far cry from the sheer happiness that I felt when I watched his match against Tipsy. He was so bad that I was genuinely worried he'd do the unthinkable and lose to Ferrer. I'm just happy that he won in straights.

Ferrer wasn't much better either. Another, better player probably would've taken advantage of Roger's poor play.

Still love him to bits.

Roger Federer

Given how negative you are I find it strange that you are a Fedfan. Roger is burned out. It has nothing to do with getting old. He had a great year pre USO and you were probably creaming your panties, but when he suffers burnout you write him off as old

Good match.

But again this is proof that Fed's not playing as well as some others think.
