Is there ANYONE out there (Novak fans, Andy fans, or neither) who actually enjoy and look forward to watching these matches? They're awful. Sometimes they happen to produce great drama (Shanghai Final) but that's it. They usually manage to bring each other's levels down and it turns into UE galore.

Re: WTF RR: Djokovic beats Murray 4-6, 6-3, 7-5

After Nole broke in second there was no coming back for Murray. Murray can't hold the same level long enough, going from brilliant to awful from game to game, Nole can and that's the difference between these two

Nole tards , haven't learned humbleness lesson at Wimbledon so they are testing their big mouth again while Deliverer waiting in ambush

Yeah. Djokovic vs Murray matches aren't that special at all.

Re: WTF RR: Djokovic beats Murray 4-6, 6-3, 7-5

based on their first match I thought Murray would take this in straights.Nole looked out of sorts against Jo, like he didn't want to be here so it was nice to see him bringing it against Andy today.Tbh he could have breadstick him in the 3rd but made things a lot more difficult than needed.Too strong mentally at the very end (as often)and that's why he is #1.Andy has still a lot of work to do mentally.

Murray - Djokovic - most borring matches in history of the tennis, no matter if it was decided by one single ball

Federer - Djokovic - watchable if Fedzniacki doesn't show up

Nadal - Djokovic - the best quality tennis in history of game

Because they are both defensive players. They keep rallying until an UE, or one finally steps up the aggression and hits a winner.

What do you expect from a match between 2 great defenders on a slow ass court?

Sounds like Murray is still mentally fragile even after winning a slam. And I don't buy this shit that Djokovic is fragile due to his dad's illness.

Murray so close yet so far again.

At 5-4 and 30-30 in the final set Murray was just 2 points away, but the mentally tougher player won again.

Amazing with 8 to 4 aces and 28 to 23 winners that Murray is considered the more defensive player. If Murray is a pusher what does that make Djokovic.

The current greatness league of active players in order of achievements to date (a factual comparison rather than fan biased assessment):

Federer 17 GS, 6 Year End Masters, 24 Master Series.
Nadal 14 GS, 27 Master Series, 1 Olympic Gold.
Djokovic 9 GS, 4 Year End Masters, 24 Master Series.

I don't mind Nole winning the tournament after the year he's had, but I don't think he was unbeatable today, not even close.
Good news in this format is Murray can still win the event.
