If Davydenko, Soderling, Gonzo, Roddick, & other turkeys all managed a win against Fed, there's no reason why Ferrer playing the best tennis of his life can't. But it's still unlikely. Fed does an excellent job exploiting the technical weaknesses Mark Petchey has astutely pointed out in Ferrer's game: putting too much spin on his forehand return, dropping the ball short for an easy 2nd shot, and too little spin when retrieving low balls to his backhand, thereby dumping balls into the net.
