She probably did all the work though, due to Ferrer's dodgy ankle.

Re: Has David Ferrer reached his ceiling?

On a serious note, yes he has reached his ceiling. Beating Llodra and Janowicz will remain the peak of his career - Flukerrer might as well celebrate this herculean win for as long as he can because it's as good as it will ever get.

He's beaten Nadal twice in a slam. How many other players can say that?

Even Ferrer himself admitted that if Rafa were healthy he'd be on a plain back to Spain after their AO match Ferrer just happened to be at the right place at the right time to take advantage of Rafa's injury.

The USO win was probably the best match I have ever seen him play.

This joke again...... AO was not legitimate - Rafa was horrible that day, Ferrer and everyone knows that something was wrong with im

And 2007 USO - ok. well Ferrer had good year, also WTF F later and so on, but honestly Rafa from 2007 on at that time ,,fast,, Decoturf was for sure scary opponent than everyone was scared in the draw... at least 15 another guys would have beaten Rafa in his draw at that tournament.

Re: Has David Ferrer reached his ceiling?

Ferrer can be beat anyone anytime. (except the big 4 in a match that counts for anything)

i don't think that he will ever reach a ceiling. he is far too short and is probably done growing.
