Re: Better player? - Davydenko or Ferrer

I'm a Ferrer fan but I'd still say Davydenko. WTF truly does trump all but he also won Masters titles against the best.

Andy Murray: 2012 Olympic gold and silver medalist. US Open Champ. Wimbledon champ. Never been prouder of him.

The Brian Baker Story. Proof that truth is stranger than fiction... until Hollywood buys the rights and proceeds to keep screwing the script up.

Re: Better player? - Davydenko or Ferrer

Davydenko is more likely to beat a top 4 player but against the rest of the field i would take Ferrer.

Re: Better player? - Davydenko or Ferrer

At their peaks Kolya was beatable just to one guy, on the other side Ferrer more or less wasn't able to beat 3 guys. And how they played against the same opponents there is no doubt who is better player

20 career titles for Ferrer + a GS final now.

Has anyone changed their minds?

Re: Better player? - Davydenko or Ferrer

OP fishing for some Davydenko love.

Still Davydenko. No amount of Bastads or AcaPics-o's can change that. While the Major final boosts Ferrer's estimation, it still doesn't change the end results. Davy would probably have one too if he had the luxury of a semi-final on his best surface against a guy on his worst. Instead, he got Federer thrice and a doped up Puerta before ever hitting his stride.

I'd still take the WTF, multiple Masters titles, and 3x "back-to-back big 4" wins (2 ending in a big ttle) over Janowicz and Llodra in Paris.

Baldenko is a joke player. A slam failure. Vulture > Baldenko.

Gone fishing...

I guess it depends if you look at the numbers or ability.
