Re: New net rule in 2013.

the 25 seconds I get and is a smart move

getting rid of lets or even considering doing it is a disgrace to the sport. lets are part of the game, it is what it is and always has been that way

you take away lets and even if it's on rare occasion, returning players are going to get some lame instances where there is no way to return a ball

as it stands lets hardly nuisance the game. for entertainment value they probably help because I think lets can build tension, I mean just think about those times when someone's going for a second serve and they keep hitting lets and not double faulting haha

it's stupid to get rid of lets and breaking from tradition. I don't know if tournaments want to make more money by making matches shorter and having more players on court by trying to eliminate time but getting rid of lets is dumb

^^ precisely. it's ludicrous to change something that has been the same for so long, but imagine if you were at set point with your opponent serving for it and somehow their serve hit the net and had a weird bounce/roll that was unreturnable.

just one instance like that would make for a headache for very long time. even if it is rare in pro tennis for a let to make a huge impact on how the ball is placed, there is a reason it was implemented in the first place, to avoid unfair returning circumstances

When Nadal faces Rosol next time he should have no problems with pants in ass. The pants will be heavy enough to go in no ass direction

Man I really hope Rosol can repeat that kind of game, its good for the tennis and all the players on tour. He can not be "The guy who once beat Nadal in Wimbledon". i think its not the goal in his career.

I'm sorry, but if Nadal came back in 2013 and was in poor enough form to lose to Rosol again in his first tournament back I think that would be much worse for the tour than having Rosol cement his 1 hit wonder into a 2 hit wonder

tour is better with a healthy Nadal than a randomly few matches of the year magic ballstriking Rosol

what happens happens but the game could use Nadal back in form

Re: New net rule in 2013.

and one advice in using MTF . You are obviously a Nadal fan but due to fact that you aren't spending enough time on MTF you are able to provide good post like this one:

When you are using MTF in bigger doses it happens this:

Rosol was barely able to beat an injured Rafa, so how could he beat an in-form Rafa? Only Djokovic can do that.

Re: New net rule in 2013.

Cancelling netcord at serve is awful decision. Further they might really destroy 2nd serve and other now seem to be pertinent rules. This decision is a disgrace to tennis.

25 seconds - well, players don`t follow this rule and umpires don`t fine them. I don`t feel like something will change significantly, really.

Gasquet is next №1
