Re: Raonic vs. Janowicz

Raonic will finish his career with far more achievements. But tennis is not only about results. The way this guy from Poland is playing I prefer to Milos` game, that`s for sure.

Gasquet is next №1

Janowicz of course.
Servebots are completely useless to win anything important.

no he won't. Janowicz is already ahead in achievements on this tournament alone.

Re: Raonic vs. Janowicz

Janowicz is a much better version of Raonic.

How can you even compare a guy like Raonic who is ALL SERVE with a smart guy like Janowicz?

Do you ever have seen Raonic playing smart dropshots or a bomb backhand down the line? Raonic has no backhand at all and dropshots are an alien concept for the Canadian. He can serve and he can hit a clear forehand if the return of his own serve isn't good enough but that's it. If Raonic serves well he can handle the big guys like Djokovic, Nadal or Federer but this depends on his serve perfomance. Janowicz can handle this guys because of his variety and his style of play in general. He is top 20 material for sure. Would destroy guys like Monaco, Cilic, Isner, Wawrinka, Raonic, Almagro, Simon more than once for sure.

And i guess Janowicz had more success with reaching a Masters final than Raonic will ever do in the future.
I do not see a guy like Raonic winning a Masters soon.

Re: Raonic vs. Janowicz

Raonic plays too Spanish. I can't remember who said that, but it's true. He doesn't use his height appropriately too often, his net game isn't where it needs to be, his backhand comes and goes, his serve as well, for as good as it is, isn't as good as it can be going forward.

With that being said, Raonic is the better player between these two. Both are overrated.

Re: Raonic vs. Janowicz

I like both, I like Milos more but Janowicz has been awesome this week, gotta live big servers

Milos has shown far better things throughout his career but Janowicz this week has probably been better than Milos has ever played, I doubt he keeps it up though, Milos has more potential ATM, he's shown he can play at a very high level multiple weeks, has 3 titles, 3 500 finals, beaten Murray twice, played Federer very close 3 times, apart from this week Janowicz has done little on the ATP level to show that he can play like this consistently, plus there's not many indoor tournaments so well see how he fares elsewhere though apparently he likes clay.

I hope Jerzy keeps it up, can't have too many offensive players with good serves on tour.

Still gotta give the edge to Milos though, replicating results is an important thing in science and sports alike
