Paris SF: Janowicz def. Simon 6-4 7-5

Great for the sport and hope the big man can take the title. The crowd were very fair to him considering he was beating on a Frenchman.

Almost Oscar Hernandez like with the forehand dropshot to get the final break. Excellent combo of power and touch in this one.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Paris SF: Jerzy GOATnowicz def. Gilles Simon 6-4, 7-5

Great playing by Janowicz. Gongratulations for reaching his 1st career final, and that in a Masters tournament! Jerzy will a tough opponent for Ferrer or Llodra tomorrow.

Extremely calm and collected performance from Janowicz. Magnificent serving, terrific drop shots and potent ground strokes all assisted the Pole in what was a pretty routine win in the end. Simon was really powerless to stop him when he was firing his forehand from the back of the court.

Hope he can continue this form in the final against Ferrer/Llodra.
