Maybe if every other WTF contestant tanks/withdraws, he has a chance, and even then I doubt it.
You say that but when Berdie won his Masters, he didn't face any of the big guns . I mean if Robredo has one, Ferrer deserves one as well.

Two wrongs don't make a right Boredo doesn't deserve a Masters, he had to cheat in the semifinal vs Ancic to get it (not to mention have Nadal and Federer withdraw due to their Rome final), it's a stain in tennis recent history, let's not have another one.

It's a total failure. probably the final inch in Bercy's coffin, Tsonga should win it now. It will be the perfect conclusion for a crapfest that it has become.

This would be great for the game Unfortunately, Tsonga's form has been horrible lately so I don't know if he can pull it off.

Why don't they switch Bercy and Valencia/Basel? There should be a week between Paris and the WTF.

you're such a clown, you can't even point out what weaknesses Ferrer has. he has a mediocre serve, fairly decent ground strokes, can play a great defensive game due to his speed, but goes on the offensive all the time in matches with his forehand and by going to the net.

one of the best movers on tour (probably the best), great hands and touch all around the court, hardest worker there is, great mentality (rarely beats himself down, ala Murray), has beaten all of the top 10 besides Federer at different points and times

you have no logic for your dislike of Ferrer or your attempts at describing him as not talented. he is certainly talented for all the reasons I pointed out

maybe you don't like him because of his so called 'vulturing' and picking up small tournaments, but putting that to the side, you can't give me an argument that adequately describes him as 'un-talented'

Ferrer would be one of the most deserving master wins in a long time and you're own dislike and bias seemed to cloud and blind you from that

Ferrer isn't loaded with weapons but he has a better serve, return, forehand, backhand and net game than that cheating ****.

Re: Will Paris TMS be worse than Toronto?

It was clear year ago when they made schedule for 2013 with Basel/Valencia - Paris - WTF 3 weeks in row that Paris will be skipped or tanked by top players - We will see how tournament will end, but big chance for Murray to win at least 1 Master 1000 title this season, but most likely he will tank or not try hard enough, if so than i hope either Tsonga or Berdych will win this- for Delpo winning this would mean he will be dead tired for WTF.... so we will see what he will do, but already with Vienna-Basel combo he should be tired enough and can´t see him win this. Than we have Ferrer left - who i really hope won´t win here - i have nothing against him, he is hard worker, but if he will win Master 1000 in his career it should be clay one not only indoor left - howewer the court is so slow it really looks funny, just wathcing some High-light on youtbe from 2010 Bercy- that fast one - what a difference...

Re: Will Paris TMS be worse than Toronto?

Who was the idiot who decided to have the Paris and year end in successive weeks.

The current greatness league of active players in order of achievements to date (a factual comparison rather than fan biased assessment):

Federer 17 GS, 6 Year End Masters, 24 Master Series.
Nadal 14 GS, 27 Master Series, 1 Olympic Gold.
Djokovic 9 GS, 4 Year End Masters, 24 Master Series.

"The decision to play Paris and London back-to-back was made by former ATP CEO Adam Helfant, who cast the deciding vote as chairman of the ATP Board, which is made up of three tournament directors and three player representatives. It would be harsh to lay the blame solely at Helfant’s door because at least two of the player reps were in favor of it, but it was a decision doomed to failure from the moment it was made."
