One word to sum up this match: CLASSIC.
Actually got way worse as the match went onward, to the point of comical. Marko never really looked like he cared about winning and had a negative, lazy attitude for most the match. It was only at the very end of the match when he knew he could potentially win did he show some energy.
Marko has the ability to hit some good shots. He started hitting out from the middle of the second set onward and hit quite a few big forehands, crosscourt BH's, a few good dropshots. But he makes horrible errors, had bad footwork, has a bad serve, doesn't move well and has a mediocre return.
Machi led 5-*3 in the second set and 4-*2 in the third, as we as served for it at *6-5 and was broken pathetically. Marko had a MP at 5-*4 in the third. Machi led 3-0 in the tiebreak and then *5-4, where he slipped after hitting a second serve and lost the point. Extremely long point at *5-6 that Marko won while being on the defense running the entire point. Marko then DF'd and hit an easy forehand error to lose.
Machi is completely done and Marko needs an attitude adjustment in the worst way.
