For some reason, Dolgo always follows up deep runs in tournaments with routine losses.

Great volleyer this Sijsling is

Re: Paris, R1: Sijsling (Q) d. Dolgopolov 64 62

Dolgo probably thought he qualified for WTF in London so he tanked this match... really no words, Sijsling must have played good from stats and posts here, but stil 6-4,6-2 is not so close match. BTW Sijsling has good game i think for challengers - i watched him vs Ferrer in Malaysia, but his game is not so suited for slower ATP conditions vs guys who are faster, better returners and so on, maybe at challengers it is enough but i don´t think it will be enough vs top 50 guys regularly.

Sijsling is the ultimate ATP 250 R2 player, so he's ranked just right at the moment, IMO.

Not really. Sijsling truly showed a great performance (the fellow can play, folks! - perhaps one of the few Dutchies ) and I don't think it's truly fair to mock Dolgo because of this loss, after his final appearance in Valencia just yesterday...
That said, I'm having mixed feelings about this loss of Dolgo's as well.

On a side note, US commenters pronounciating Sijsling's name as Sizzling on the livestream I watched,

"It's getting colder, I'm getting colder, older, it's getting colder...

Am I still here? As one, with The Fear?
Am I still alive? I'm still f*cking ... Here...!"

Dolgopolov Losing to a mug I have never even heard of is pathetic. Perhaps it's time to take a little break from tennis.

Sijsling can volley, but it´s usually far from being a consistent thing in his case.

As for Dolgo, those random loses will probably hunt him throughout the whole career unfortunately.

Just shut the fuck up

Sijsling is a good player, quite dangerous on these courts. No shocking result here, but I can see that Dolgo fans are a bit disappointed.
