Reading MTF every time convinces me that mankind is doomed. Just too much dumbasses around

Well deserved victory. It really would have been time to start worrying if Del Po had managed to lose this match playing so well against such a subpar Federer.

del potro showed respect for those a little less fortunate than himself, like roddick

federer meanwhile, abused and humiliated roddick

the better human being won, no doubt about it

To attend the final probably aged me for 20 years
It was like most of the matches between them this year - really hard fought and intensive.
I guess it was just a matter of time until Del Po would be the winner of such a close match.
It's frustrating that Roger couldn't use his BPs in the 3rd set
You can't afford something like this against a topplayer.
I was so optimistic that Roger would be able to use the advantage of having to play a 3rd set against Del Po who had already played the whole week in Vienna before and should have been a bit tired.
Well, it wasn't meant to be but as Roger said he has been lucky to win a few of their close matches in the past.
Thanks to both players for this final - it was a pleasure to witness it
I could congratulate JMDP for his victory in person and he was quite surprised when a whole group of Federer fans was giving him a warm applause when he walked by us.

Roger had the pizza celebration nevertheless:

Tough loss at home yesterday but I always enjoy the post match Pizza party with my fellow Basel ballboys + ballgirls!

Well done Juan! Excellent victory, back to winning ways - can't wait to see him at the Oz open.

Oh Rogie, hard luck. Rest up and take the WTF by storm!

A good match
