The Wimbledon 2005 Anticipation Thread

I can hardly wait for Wimbledon 2005 For my fellow Wimbledon fanatics, this is the place to discuss the Grand Slam and maybe whether you will be going there!

I myself will try to go the first week, but I have to save some money which is not easy being a student

Re: The Wimbledon 2005 Anticipation Thread

Sorry Martijn - but I'm MUCH more excited about Roland Garros! Despite living just a couple of miles from Wimbledon, my Wimby appreciation 2005 will involve wandering in about 5 minutes before any of David's matches and wandering out again as soon as they're over

Great to see you're enthusiastic Coo, but I can never share that, but good luck in your Wimbledon adventures.

Re: The Wimbledon 2005 Anticipation Thread

Coo loves grasscourt tennis as much as I hate it, but I have to say the last 2 years results on the men's side have been pleasing.

The best thing about Wimbledon? Båstad begins after it.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Machado wins 6-2 6-1
