This.

And that gives GOAT status. Its not same saving MP's on challengers and on Masters 1000 Series and in Grand Slams.

Nicolas Lapentti is probably the GOAT winner from match point down. He did it bucket loads of times.

Yup, but on what level? Masters final isn't exactly the same as 250 R2

“There’s so many athletes, tennis players around the world,” he continued, trying to put his life into some kind of perspective, “they want to be the best in what they do. They want to succeed. Many of them, they don’t succeed in the end. I’m fortunate to have this opportunity and succeed.”

This. It's been more than months. Djokovic definitely has a case for it. He is really clutch.

Re: Is Novak Djokovic now the MP saving GOAT?

There is no need to desperately search for aspects where Djokovic can be considered the 'GOAT'. He is a very strong player and made a great comeback...But it's like people are always trying too hard to hype the winner of the last title. He is a top player now but certainly not GOAT material.

Re: Is Novak Djokovic now the MP saving GOAT?

Nole has the shoulda coulda woulda lost GOAT acclaim sewn up

So someone recently informed me that my sig was empty. Said I needed a life affirming motivational quote by a positive role model like Einstein or Oscar Wilde...

Here's a tip. Don't regret nothin'. You ain't got the time. Before you know it, you'll be 60 something years old giving free advice to some cheapskate runt... Then going home and regretting it.
