Re: Andy Murray got a good dose of a super Pro-Fed crowd

I doubt Andy could give a shit and neither could I or his fans (except the whiny ones). He's won here the past two years and he's going to again tomorrow if he's in form. The crowd better get used to him as their winner.

LET'S GO!!
SLAMS: 3 TITLES, 8 finals, 9 semi-finals, 8 quarter-finals...
WORLD TOUR FINALS: 1 TITLE, 3 semi-finals...
MASTERS: 14 TITLES, 7 finals, 12 semi-finals, 18 quarter-finals...
OLYMPICS: 2 gold medals, 1 silver...
DAVIS CUP: 1 TITLE, 1 semi-final, 1 quarter-final...
WORLD #1: 2 weeks and counting...
MATCH WIN/LOSS: 630-174...
TITLES: 44 and counting...

right, in Sap's imaginary Lala China land.

Now, seriously, Chinese are not that bad. I really like any tennis crowd to be more neutral and show respect to all players. I find French to be the worst. well, at least Asians love Nole, unlike Muzza and I'm rubbing this off to Sap's nose right now, feels so good

Re: Andy Murray got a good dose of a super Pro-Fed crowd

This crowd was unusual.

It's not very often that you see the crowd loudly cheering after a routine point in the second game of the match.

They had not even played 10 points when the crowd started reaching sound levels of Grand Slam 5th sets... but only when Fed won the points.

Maybe they wanted him to win the whole thing to shove the win up the death threat guy's ass

Gulbis Ferrer Nishikori
Isner Nadal Dimitrov Istomin Wawrinka B. Baker

Berdych Monaco Granollers Leo-Mayer Troicki Roger-Vasselin Lu Paire

PAW Titles: Brisbane 2012 & 2014
FITD Titles: Marseille 2014
Tennis Tipping Titles
Singles: Orleans CH '11, Tampere CH '12, Medellin CH '12, Vancouver CH '15, Opava FUT '15
Doubles: Noumea CH '13 w/ Chirag, Cherbourg CH '14, Yokohama CH '15 w/ BMT360

Yeah, he's built up a nice fan base and I suspect he will be the next fave after Fed retires. It doesn't hurt to write your name in Mandarin or wear an Asian brand either..Uniqlo

Not a big deal but yeah, pretty disgusting crowd. I noticed that already when Fed played Wawrinka.

Monaco - Del Potro - Nadal - Wawrinka - Robredo - Dimitrov - Chardy - Berdych

I literally could not hear a single cheer. All I could hear was boos, jeers, or groans of utter disgust and disappointment.

Also notice how Andy gave a very quick polite wave as the winner and quickly retreated back to his seat.

I wanted Fed to win, but I did wish the crowd was a bit more polite.
Well deserved. I would boo as well if I spend my hard earned cash on a SF ticket only to see a weaponless pushing hooligan there. People don't care about Mugray, except Sapeod. People care about the real big 3.

The Thailand and Shanghai crowds are no different from the Wimbledon nutjobs.

So the common theme of your last two posts on this forum is the boos, jeers or groans of (plain/utter) disgust Murray received for winning. Sounds like you enjoyed it.

Andy doesn't take a lack of support as badly as a player like Nole does. He doesn't need the approval as much.

So someone recently informed me that my sig was empty. Said I needed a life affirming motivational quote by a positive role model like Einstein or Oscar Wilde...

Great tip to stay fit and mobile: If you run up and down the stairs two steps at a time at least once daily, there will never come a time when you can't do it. Until of course one day you mistime a step, collapse and break all your bones... That would suck. But you had a good run.

1. gluten-free
2. Czech coach
3. Tennis academy

I heard it's final. Novak joined IMG. I suspect Murray to follow in his footsteps shortly.:-)

Agreed. When they jeered him in France during the Nieminem match, he appeared to play better. In the next match (I forget who his opponent was), he walked on court to a flurry of boos, and I remember him so much as laughing about it.

i heard boos when Federer said the crowds at the 2005 US Open were proud to have Americans in semifinals. Roddick was a 1st round loser.
