4-digit ATP player codes

I was wondering whether somebody has an overview of all player codes the ATP uses for the top 300 or top 500 players. F.e. Federer has code F324 and Djokovic has code D643.

Whenever you want a HtH record these codes will appear in the url. (so the url for the FedEx-Djoko HtH is http://www.atpworldtour.com/Players/...=F324&oId=D643 )

We're trying to find an easy way to get HtH records in game page.

If no one can help, I'll build the overview myself, if anybody is interested in it, just shout (it will of course take me a couple of days).

Re: 4-digit ATP player codes

I predict that people will start using these codes as player's nicknames.

I support Federer, Murray, Karlovic, Nishikori and some others.

Re: 4-digit ATP player codes

you used to be able to see them all in the URL of the players profile page, then they switched to having their names there.

Re: 4-digit ATP player codes

I was looking for a list, maybe somebody already had it. Guess I'll be picking them from the urls then.

You'd think people would take something serious around here. Oh well...

Sorry mate. I noticed these codes, fortunately for me I didn't need to use them until now, so I really can't help you. The way they are chosen is pretty much random. The first letter is obviously the first letter from their name, followed by a series of hexadecimal characters, probably the index from the database converted to hexa. There is no pattern to guess there, it's the order in their database. So, one must pick them manually. A lot of hard work.

It wasn't too hard, I do have them now untill 300, took me an hour of boring work. If anybody needs the list I can send it.
